On August 10 and 11, the seventh annual “Riga Burger Festival” will take place in Esplanade Park. Representatives of burger joints and restaurants from all over Latvia will participate in the festival, who will fight for the title of the tastiest burger of the festival, portal balticevents.info informs.
During two days, a special festival celebration program will be held in Esplanade Park, which will start at 11:00 a.m. on both days.

This year, the jury representatives for determining the best burger of the festival will be chef Lauris Aleksejevs, food blogger “Jushkapadrushka” Justīne, radio diva Santa Dejus and founder of “Womens Social Club” Santa Miķelsone.
“More than ten thousand people from many Latvian cities visit the event every year. The goal of the festival has always been to show the burger not only as “fast food”, but as a cult food and a whole culture already integrated into modern cuisine.” – says Edgars Svencs, the organizer of the “Riga Burger Festival”.
As every year, a traditional holiday concert will be held at the festival, in which local artists will participate. Such musicians as “Bad Habit”, Pētersons, the group “Keksi”, Mārtiņš Balodis and many others have previously participated in the festival.
During both days of the festival, a program of shows, contests for the audience and other entertainment accompanied by DJs is planned.
