On June 17, the popular German electronic music DJ and producer “M.A.N.D.Y” will perform at the “Aqua Luna” night club, informs portal balticevents.info. The concert will take place within the “Swash” concert season.
Patrick Bodmer’s club creations started in the 80s with performances in small venues, but success came exactly in 2002. In Frankfurt together with kindred spirits Booka Shade and DJ T, he decided to start the record label Get Physical, and within four years since its founding, it has become one of the fastest growing and strongest brands in electronic music. Already moving to Berlin, in 2005 “M.A.N.D.Y.” together with “Booka Shade” recorded one of the main hits of the year and decade, “Body Language”, which was included in many playlists and played on all dance music radio stations around the world.
Later, “M.A.N.D.Y.” recorded a mix for the London club and label Fabric, but in 2009 released another compilation on another prestigious label Renaissance. At the time, the influential portal “Resident Advisor” wrote that such maturity, intelligence and cohesion as “M.A.N.D.Y.” are rare nowadays.
Patriks of the Riga event prepared a special summer program where he will perform his best works. In the course of the evening, local DJs “Merola” and “Electricano” will also perform on stage. More information about the concert is available on the official club website www.aqualuna.lv.
