Footage of the post-match exchange between Tottenham Hotspur pair Harry Kane and Antonio Conte has come to the fore online late on Sunday evening.
Spurs, of course, were back in action a short time ago.
Fresh off a morale-boosting pair of successive victories over Fulham and Preston North End, the Lilywhites welcomed Premier League champions Manchester City to north London, hopeful of keeping alive their stellar recent home record against the title-chasing Sky Blues.
And, when all was said and done, this is precisely what the day’s hosts went on to achieve.
This came as a solitary strike by way of Harry Kane ultimately proved to be decisive, in putting a fresh dent in City’s title ambitions.
Kane’s finish, though, did not only come as a significant one from a collective standpoint on Sunday.
In addition, it marked a record-breaking one for the prolific England international, on an individual standing.
This comes with Kane having now officially surpassed Jimmy Greaves as the all-time leading goalscorer in the history of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.
And one individual, amongst many, who was keen to pass on his congratulations for an achievement which can be described as nothing short of remarkable, came in the form of Antonio Conte.
Spurs’ boss, of course, is currently in his home country of Italy, recuperating from surgery to remove his gallbladder after being diagnosed with cholecystitis.
Conte, though, was nevertheless sure to reach out to his side’s star performer, with footage of the post-match phone call between the pair on Sunday evening showcased below:
