LATVIA – On October 27, for the first time in the Baltic States, “Gaismas Dārzs” will be opened on the territory of Mažaparks, where the multimedia exhibition “Sniegbaltīte” will be located, informs the portal balticevents.info.
The “Garden of Lights” is a popular international open-air project consisting of illuminated sculptures and exhibitions, sound installations and light projections, as well as more than 500,000 LED lamps that help bring the popular fairy tale scene to life.
The fairy tale “Snow White” teaches children and adults to make friends, cooperate and respect each other. The time to visit the light show is in the evening and at night, when the darkness creates a romantic atmosphere.
“Gaismas Dārzs” works with the international multimedia company “S4 Lights”, which is a leader in the multimedia lighting market in the world. They actively cooperate with such companies as “Disneyland”, “SeaWorld” and “Silver Dollar”. Performances are held annually in several European capitals. This year, fairytale expositions will open their doors in four more European capitals: Riga, Budapest, Belgrade and Bucharest.
“Our project is based on such popular children’s fairy tales as “Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs”, “Alice in Wonderland”, “Peter Pan”, “Smurfs” and many others. The goal of the project is to bring smiles to children and their parents. To achieve this, we try to use the best technology in the world. Our exhibitions have been visited by almost one and a half million people and it is a great pleasure that this year we will present our exposition in Riga as well,” says Michals Čojnacki, representative of “Gaismas Dārza”.
The exhibition will be open every day for four months, including holidays and public holidays. Advance ticket sales are available on the exhibition’s official website.
