On April 1, the big children’s aqua show “Waterland” will take place in “Arena Riga”, informs portal balticevents.info.
A circus show of this format will be held on the water for the first time in Latvia. The event area will be crowded with artists in sea-dweller costumes. A huge pool will be built on the territory of “Arenas Rīga”, which can hold around 170 tons of water, and a 24-meter-high light fountain. The entire show program will be accompanied by light, lasers and fire elements to show the audience the magic of water and fire elements.
Some of the most sought-after producers in Europe are involved in the creation of the show. Marija Remneva’s performances have three times won prizes at the circus art festival in Monte Carlo, at the international circus artist competition in Paris, and also won the silver medal at the international festival in Latina.
Olga Finko, a teacher of American ballet schools and producer of European shows, takes care of creating the choreography.
The circus show will feature 60 gymnasts and dancers who will perform acrobatic tricks not only in the pool, but also over the giant fountain. Also, many dancers and choreographers will perform on the stage, who will help reveal the theme of the underwater world of “Waterland” with a water ballet.
“Waterland” aqua show in Riga will take place as part of the big world tour. Event starts at 15:00. Tickets are available at all “Bilešu Serviss” ticket offices.
