SiriusXM is giving away tickets to eighteen listeners to attend listening parties for the new album on May 15 and May 16 in New York & Los Angeles. For fans who didn’t win, Spotify is hosting its own listening party. The streaming music platform has been testing the feature in Indonesia—but now it’s ready for prime time.
The Spotify Listening Party experience offers a live, audio-only experience where fans can join a party with their favorite artists to listen to their music, engage with the artist, ask questions, and shop their latest merch—all within the Spotify app. Aftists that have used the listening party feature on Spotify before now include Zara Larsson, Bleachers, MGMT, and Lizzy McAlpine.
Spotify will host a listening party on May 17 for the Billie Eilish third studio album drop. Top fans will receive a special web link to browse artist merch and countdown to the party—while also being invited to listen to the new album the way Billie intended. Fans should pre-save the album ahead of Friday’s release to participate.

Artists can speak directly to their fans via audio stream and fans can request to go on stage to speak to the artist directly. A direct chat is available that will facilitate chatting between fans about the music, allowing them to follow along together. Artists who participate can play any music from their Spotify library, allowing fans to easily save these songs to their Spotify account.
Easy access to merch drops will also be provided during the live listening party, giving fans a way to express their support for the artists they love.
