Slovenian rock group “Joker Out” will perform in Riga

On March 7, the popular Slovenian rock group “Joker Out” will perform a big concert in the “Palladium” concert hall, informs portal balticevents.info.

Joker Out is the first new band to gain national popularity in Slovenia in the last decade. The wide range of characteristics of the band members – from methodical to the blissfully spontaneous – led to the creation of a unique sound called “Shagadelic Rockn’Roll”. In the years that followed, this energetic but exciting style of softboi rock gained national favor.

Led by the co-single from the band’s first studio album, “Umazane Misli” (Still Thoughts), they topped the radio and streaming charts, as well as every major concert stage across the country. It won them two consecutive “Artist of the Year” awards in 2021 and 2022, “Song of the Year” award in 2021, and even became the most awarded artist of 2022.

With creativity bursting out of the band, even their continuous touring in 2022 could not prevent them from writing and recording their second studio album “Demons”, which was released alongside an unprecedented sold-out concert at the country’s most prominent concert venue, the Križanke Amphitheater.

This further cemented their position as the leaders of Slovenia’s New Wool. After the National Television selected them as their representatives for the Eurovision Song Contest in 2023, it only confirmed their ambitions to gain international recognition, and so they are already preparing an English-language album.

The artists will perform in Riga as part of the European concert tour. Tickets are available at the “Ticketshop.lv” box office. More information about the event is available on the official collective website
