Qobuz Launches Qobuz Club: An Exclusive Community for Audiophiles and Music Lovers

Qobuz, “the music lovers’” download and streaming service, is launching a new community platform, Qobuz Club, to connect audiophiles and music lovers worldwide. The interactive forum will enable Qobuz users to communicate with like-minded listeners about music discovery and recommendations, hardware, Hi-Fi advice, and other topics.

As part of their quest to create the best music experience possible, Qobuz is launching Qobuz Club to add a more social component to the experience for casual listeners and music enthusiasts alike. While algorithms and AI can help with personalized recommendations, Qobuz believes that music needs the emotional and social context of the human element that makes discovering music in a community setting exciting. In addition to allowing users to connect over the music they love, Qobuz Club aims to facilitate a space for discussing more complex topics like hardware.

Like web forums of the internet past, Qobuz Club features a variety of sections for different discussions like News, Music Clubs, Hi-Fi Spaces, and a Discussion Forum where users can talk directly with Qobuz team members. The platform also includes a “collector’s corner” for vinyl lovers, a space for beta testers, and a help/suggestions space for future platform improvements.

The Qobuz Club platform is available now on the web and will soon be available via mobile app. Currently, Qobuz Club is open worldwide in English, with a French version coming soon.

Qobuz launched in France in 2007, focusing on high-quality music in all genres. It features a rich catalog of over 80 million tracks in high-resolution sound and unequaled quality with unaltered files straight from the studio, up to 24-Bit/192 kHz.

Last year, Qobuz expanded its service to include Portugal and five Latin American countries: Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, and Chile. That expansion brought its total number of served countries to 25 following its launch in Australia, New Zealand, and the Nordic countries in 2021.
