As the popularity of herbal products grows, “Naturli”

According to a focus group survey* conducted by “Orkla Latvija”, there are more and more consumers who choose plant-based products in their daily meals to replace fish, meat or dairy products. In addition, the demand for plant-based products is growing not only among vegans and vegetarians, but also among omnivores and those who do not follow specific diets. That is why the production of the “Naturli” brand of vegetable products of “Orkla Latvija” will be available to a significantly wider audience outside of retail outlets, that is, it can be purchased already prepared from the “Naturli” cart in more than 10 locations throughout Latvia.

“According to the data obtained in the focus group, consumers mainly associate plant-based products with healthy food that gives a lighter feeling, as well as with a better choice for body well-being and emotional balance. The most important reasons for choosing good plant-based products are caring for yourself and the well-being of your loved ones, as well as the desire to diversify your daily menu. Some of the plant products surveyed help avoid allergic reactions in people with lactose or gluten intolerance. Likewise, the choice in favor of a vegan meal is promoted by care and responsibility for the environment around us and the planet we live in, reducing our ecological footprint,” says Lineta Mikša, communications director of “Orkla Latvija”.

With the motto “Eat green, live easy”, “Naturli” plant-based products will be available in prepared form at the “Naturli” food truck in Andrejosta quarter, Riga, from June 29 this year, as well as at the most visited summer events – the conversation festival LAMPA, Cēsis, music festival Positivus, Riga, vegan festival Augam, Riga, Laba daba festival, Ratnieki, and several stages of Stirnubuks. “Vegan dishes are undoubtedly valued as a modern and trendy meal, which people not only diversify their daily diet, but are happy to taste for the first time when they are outside the house. “Naturli” plant state products were introduced by “Orkla Latvija” in its assortment in 2020. “Naturli” products are made from 100% of the highest quality plant raw materials and do not contain GMOs. Naturli’s frozen products have more sustainable packaging, which is partly made from sugar cane material, while the pizza boxes are made from recyclable cardboard.
