The NFL Week 10 schedule includes four division games headlined by the NFC East Philadelphia Eagles (6-2) at Dallas Cowboys (3-5) and the Denver Broncos (5-4) at Kansas City Chiefs (8-0) in an AFC West battle. But the interconference clash between division leaders Pittsburgh Steelers (6-2) at Washington Commanders (7-2) is drawing the most watch and wager action at leading online sportsbooks.

Those most watched and wagered games follows the Thursday night feature and thrilling finish in the AFC North division duel that saw the Baltimore Ravens hold on and win 35-34 over the Cincinnati Bengals.

“There are seven games on Sunday with favorites of 6 or more points, and we will be cheering for those teams to lose,” BetMGM trading manager said. “The Lions are the most bet team to cover in Week 10, and the Steelers-Commanders game is drawing significant betting interest.”

The Commanders Hail Mary touchdown winner over the Bears in Week 8 adds to the watch and wager interest with prohibitive Rookie of the Year favorite Jayden Daniels (-1350) leading Washington to the top of the NFC East following a last place finish in 2023. A playoff position for the Commanders is well in sight with leading online sportsbooks showing an 88% chance the Commanders make the playoffs aheaed of their Week 10 contest against the Steelers.

NFL Betting TrendsLatest Bet And Money Percentages

Betting remains brisk across the country as NFL fans watch and wager on the games and their most popular teams. FanDuel reports strong two-way action on the Steelers-Commanders game. Trend bettors note that Playbook Sports data base shows Steelers QB Russell Wilson 18-4-1 against the spread (ATS) as an underdog against opponents coming off back-to-back wins his NFL career, including 11-0-1 ATS as a ‘Dog of 4 or fewer points.

Eagles-Cowboys Odds, Picks And Props

The Eagles (6-2) have won 4-straight games and lead the NFC in rushing averaging 175 yards per game. Saquon Barkley tops the NFC in rushing at 925 yards. He was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week after racking up 199 all-scrimmage yards against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 9 with dazzling moves and a backward hurdle over a defender.

Cowboys QB Dak Prescott will have surgery on his hamstring and he’s done for the season. Cooper Rush takes over at quarterback looking to lead the Cowboys to their first home win of the season with Dallas 0-3 SU/ATS with a pair of blowout losses at AT&T Stadium, and also 0-3 SU/ATS in their three most recent games.

Steelers-Commanders

Bob Stoll of Dr. Bob Sports provides additional matchups and advance stats in support of a the Commanders.

  • Washington’s late-down efficiency on offense is unsustainable but the market is properly accounting for it. The Commanders also have a 48% early down success rate, which ranks 5th, and is exactly where their offense is rated in the betting markets.
  • However, Pittsburgh’s defense is vastly overrated by the betting market due to the schedule of opposing offenses. The Steelers have only gone against one offense with an early down success rate above the league average of 42% and it was the Falcons in Kirk Cousins’s first start off the Achilles when he clearly couldn’t move and didn’t take a snap under center.
  • Jayden Daniels is averaging 7.6 yppp (3rd) and will be by far the best quarterback Pittsburgh’s defense has played this season to date.
  • Steelers edge defender TJ Watt has 6.5 sacks (9th) but he will be limited by RT Andrew Wylie, who ranks 13th in pass blocking efficiency.
  • Pittsburgh’s offense is averaging 21% more yareds per pass play versus Cover 1 than other coverages (7th) and Russell Wilson has a favorable matchup against a Commanders defense with the 6th-highest Cover 1 rate.
  • Washington made a trade for a great Cover 1 cornerback Marshon Lattimore, who is worth 0.7 points per game, or about 2% in win probability, by our metrics. It doesn’t look like he’ll be ready to start for the Commanders in this game due to his hamstring injury, but there is a small chance he could play (I assume he’ll be out).
  • I do expect Washington’s pass rush to put pressure on Russell. Steelers’ backup RG Mason McCormick will line up across from interior defender Daron Payne, who ranks 13th in pass-rushing efficiency. Commanders edge defender Dorance Armstrong ranks 11th in pass-rushing efficiency, and he will wreak havoc versus RT Broderick Jones, who has surrendered a league-high 7 sacks.
  • Wilson will not be able to get the screen game going to slow down the Commanders’ defensive linemen from pinning their ears back. Pittsburgh’s offense is targeting running backs on 22% of passes (3rd-most) but Washington is allowing -0.34 EPA/target to opposing running backs (3rd).
  • Our model favors the Commanders by 5.5 points, with a predicted total of 46.4 points, and Washington applies to a 137-63-1 ATS situation that plays on good offensive teams at home against good defensive teams. 1-star best bet Commanders.
