Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has named a 31-man squad for the next leg of the club’s packed pre-season schedule, taking them to the United States.
Having seen off Leeds in Olso last week, a Donny van de Beek goal was enough to make it two wins from two on Wednesday afternoon as they met Lyon in Edinburgh.
Now, United fly to North America for a quickfire four-game blast against Arsenal, Wrexham, Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund – all before the end of July.
Fred is a notable absentee from the group, left behind to deal with a personal issue, but he is expected to make the trip at a later date instead. Tyrell Malacia misses out through injury, as does young centre-back Rhys Bennett, who had featured against Leeds.
Jonny Evans is not named, despite signing a short-term contract this week, but big hitters Casemiro, Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes and Christian Eriksen all join the group.

Promising goalkeeper Matej Kovar misses out, despite playing 135 minutes out of 180 so far in pre-season. Instead, he is replaced by fellow Czech stopper Radek Vitek. There is also a place for Dean Henderson. Andre Onana is not a United player yet but is expected to link up with the squad soon.
Noam Emeran, having scored and assisted against Leeds, isn’t making the trip, neither is Isak Hansen-Aaroen, Joe Hugill or Charlie McNeill, all of whom have featured so far. But Dan Gore, Hannibal Mejbri, Kobbie Mainoo, Omari Forson and Alvaro Fernandez have each bagged themselves a place.
