Latvian singer released a video using artificial intelligence

This week, Latvian singer Olga Ostrovskaya presented a new video for the song “Forever”, which was made entirely with the help of artificial intelligence, reports the portal balticevents.info.

The singer herself comes from the city of Zilupe, where she has been studying music since childhood. Olya wanted to become a singer then, but her mother dreamed of her daughter playing the violin. Then in Rezekne she graduated from a music college and received her first education as a violin teacher.

Then Ostrovskaya entered GITIS, from where she graduated as a musical and dramatic theater and film actress. Olga worked for a long time at the Riga Theater Observatory. All two educations later helped the girl find herself on the music scene.

Olga’s husband Alexander “Schuremann” Praschuk is the author of song lyrics for many musicians. One day he simply realized that the character and message of his latest lyrics through songs could easily be conveyed by his wife with the help of her acting skills. So they began to work on the career of a new singer.

Popular Latvian photographer Darren Kane was responsible for the entire video. All the painstaking work, second by second, had to be done for a month, since it was necessary to digitize and generate Olga in the video itself.

— I was inspired by the musical style of Synthwave. This is what led to the beginning of painstaking work with the video, since it was necessary to convey all the mood, feelings and experiences through the prism of creativity, relying on the functions and parameters of artificial intelligence, Ostrovskaya shared.

The singer is currently working on new material. The song “Forever” is available on all streaming platforms and will be included in the upcoming album, which is scheduled for release at the end of May.
