Latvian artist created designs for the “Usyk-Fury” fight

On December 21, a rematch between popular boxers Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury took place in Saudi Arabia. After a 12-round fight, Usyk defeated Tyson by unanimous decision, becoming the first heavyweight champion of all four leading boxing organizations for the second time, informs the portal balticevents.info.

As part of the rematch, both athletes, as well as the chairman of the General Authority for Entertainment Affairs of Saudi Arabia, Turki Al-Sheikh, have published drawings on their social networks dedicated to the upcoming event. The author of the drawing is a native Rigan Vladislavs Lakše.

“For me, it is a great honor that the drawings have become a part of such a historic event in professional boxing. I have always followed these athletes and today I also got to reflect them in my art,” says Lakše.

As the artist himself says, at the beginning of the summer, Turki Al Sheikh offered him to create the visual design of the main fight in cooperation with the sports service “DAZN”. Lakše has drawn illustrations of the fight for social networks, as well as created designs for the “Kingdom Arena” arena during the day of the fight.

Let us remind you that the artist has previously collaborated with Usik and the boxer published their joint drawing on his social networks when he defeated British boxer Daniel Dubois. During his creative career, Lakše has already worked with companies such as Nike, Converse, Puma, Adidas, and many other popular brands.
