Guild of Music Supervisors
The Guild of Music Supervisors has added Jonathan Leahy (Aperture Music) and Robin Urdang (Reel Music) to its board.
Leahy and Urdang will serve alongside seven existing board members – Joel C. High, Howard Paar, Todd Porter, Aminé Ramer, Jennifer Smith, Andrea von Foerster, and Madonna Wade-Reed – under Lindsay Wolfington (president) and Heather Guibert (VP).

Lyrics and music data platform Musixmatch has just tapped Rio Caraeff as its Chief Business Officer. Caraeff will oversee and bolster relationships with Musixmatch’s clients, partners, IP owners, and other stakeholders.

Beggars Group director of live licensing Ruth Barlow has been named chair of The Association of Independent Music.
Additionally, four professionals have joined AIM’s board: Transgressive co-founder (and former AIM chair) Tim Dellow, Chrysalis Records/Blue Raincoat Music general counsel Jackie Joseph, Ninja Tune chair Peter Quicke (also a former AIM chair), and Secretly Group VP of operations Chloé van Bergen.

Warner Music Latina has upped 13-year team member Brenda Carrasco to VP of marketing and artist strategy.

SMP UK has announced three A&R promotions: Universal Music vet Felix Canetty-Clarke has been boosted to VP of UK A&R strategy and international research, roughly eight-year A&R professional Sarah Gabrielli-Cohen has been elevated to senior director of A&R for the UK and Europe, and Saul Fitton, previously with Warner Chappell, has been enlisted to serve as senior director of A&R for the UK.
