Kim Kardashian knows how to sell a product!
On February 3, the reality star casually modeled a hot pink underboob-baring cutout teddy from her shapewear brand’s Valentine’s Day shop in a series of mirror selfies. “💕❤️ Shop @skims Valentines Collection 💕❤️,” she captioned the Instagram post, which highlights the red lace-trimmed silk one-piece in “neon orchid.”
In the pics, Kardashian posed on the floor in a “paint me like one of your French girls but make it 2023″ kind of way, do you know what I mean? You know what I mean. She wore her hair slicked back into one long braid and kept her makeup in neutral tones with black winged liner.
Naturally, the $88 Skims lingerie, which runs from size XXS to 4X, is already out of stock, though you can still sign up for the waitlist. “Need,” sister Kylie Jenner commented on the ‘gram.
The marketing for Skims’ latest limited-edition drop has been on point. In late January 2022, Kim Kardashian announced the return of Skims’ Valentine’s Day Shop with a campaign starring everyone’s favorite Italian scammers from The White Lotus season two.
“I watched The White Lotus and had to have my girls,” Kim Kardashian captioned photos of actors (and IRL besties) Simona Tabasco and Bea Grannò modeling pieces from the collections, including the Fits Everybody Skimpy Scoop Bralette, Cheeky Briefs, Fits Everybody Bandeau, and Boyshorts in the shop’s petal pink pattern.
“I had so much fun shooting the Skims’ Valentine’s campaign,” Grannò said in a press release. “Having the opportunity to work alongside my friend Simona and to experience our first global fashion campaign together is something very special.”
Tabasco added, “I love everything Skims stands for! To be featured in a global fashion campaign with Beatrice that celebrates friendship, women, and feeling empowered and sexy in your own body is so rewarding.”
