A woman who alleges she was sexually assaulted by Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has amended her lawsuit to include allegations she was also assaulted by Jay-Z.

A lawsuit filed against Sean “Diddy” Combs in October has been amended over the weekend to include Shawn Carter, better known as Jay-Z, as a defendant. Filed by a woman who wishes to remain anonymous, the lawsuit claims she was 13 years old when she was allegedly assaulted by Combs and Carter at a VMAs afterparty in 2000.

The woman, identified in the lawsuit as a Jane Doe, says she began to feel woozy after consuming a drink at the party and “wandered into a nearby bedroom.” Her lawsuit alleges that Carter raped her first, followed by Combs, and that she hit Combs and ran out of the party. Carter was initially identified in the lawsuit as Celebrity A.

According to the lawsuit, Jane Doe’s attorneys reached out to Carter with a letter to request a mediation.

“Upon present information and belief, Jay-Z responded to said letter by not only filing an utterly frivolous lawsuit, but by also orchestrating a conspiracy of harassment, bullying, and intimidation against Plaintiff’s lawyers, their families, employees, and former associates in an attempt to silence Plaintiff from naming Jay-Z herein,” the lawsuit reads. “This effort was meant to scare Plaintiff and to discredit her counsel. That effort failed. Indeed, Plaintiff chose to file this amendment as a result of the egregious conduct perpetuated by Carter.

Carter is the first celebrity to be accused of sexual assault in connection to Combs, who was indicted in September on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and prostitution charges and remains in federal custody. In a statement to CNN addressed to Jane Doe’s attorney, Carter called the allegations “heinous in nature,” and a “blackmail attempt.”

“Whomever would commit such a crime against a minor should be locked away, would you not agree?” wrote Carter, who also called out Houston-based attorney Tony Buzbee, the lawyer representing Jane Doe and countless others in their lawsuits against Sean Combs. “[Buzbee], who I have done a bit of research on, seems to have a pattern of these type of theatrics.”

“My wife and I will have to sit our children down, one of whom is at the age where her friends will surely see the press and ask questions about the nature of these claims, and explain the cruelty and greed of people,” wrote Carter, who is married to superstar Beyoncé. “I mourn yet another loss of innocence. Children should not have to endure such at their young age.”

In November, an anonymous male celebrity filed a lawsuit against Buzbee, alleging to be the victim of an extortion scheme, and accusing Buzbee and his firm of “shamelessly attempting to extort exorbitant sums from him or else publicly file wildly false horrific allegations against him.” Buzbee denied the extortion claims against him in an Instagram post.

“If you are trying to hide your identity and you claim you did nothing wrong, doesn’t seem very smart to take this approach,” Buzbee said in a statement to CNN at the time. “We will address it in due course.
