The multi-service company “Tele2” has significantly expanded the premises of its well-being office, so now the entire office with an area of approximately 2,600 square meters is adapted to the concept of a well-being office. Employees of Tele2 subsidiary Baltic Shared Services Center and Tele2 IoT will mainly work in the newly renovated premises. About 400,000 euros were invested in the reconstruction of the office premises.
During the reconstruction of the premises, the specifics of the employees’ work and culture in the company were taken into account, as well as modern technology solutions were introduced to increase productivity.
“The reconstructed premises will mainly be staffed by our colleagues who monitor the perfect functioning of the Tele2 network in all Baltic countries on a daily basis, as well as employees who work together with Swedish colleagues on various Internet of Things solutions. They have not only modern workplaces, but also rest rooms and rooms for socializing with colleagues,” says Aija Bite-Ozere, director of the personnel department of “Tele2”. “Before the pandemic, it was difficult to imagine that our colleagues could work remotely, but now it is possible, therefore, for the majority of Tele2 employees, the office will basically serve as a meeting place for certain important meetings and project working groups, as well as an environment where colleagues to socialize. At the same time, every employee has the opportunity to visit the office whenever he wants.”
“Tele2” office is a modern workplace for more than 200 employees – it has the possibility to change the workplace according to the daily plan, as modern rooms have been created for meetings, project work groups and working alone. The office has a paperless environment, as all employees have laptops, and the clean desk principle is followed, which requires employees to put their personal and work-related belongings in their lockers after finishing work at the particular workplace.
