On May 8, the international fighting show Bazara 0 Fight Club 2 will be held in the LED Unit film studio. Fighters from Poland, Germany, Ukraine, Estonia and Latvia will perform in a special fighting cage.
Guests of the event will see 10 fights according to the rules of B0 Kick Fight, B0 Fist Fight and B0 Mixed Fight, in which both amateur athletes and titled fighters will perform. According to the organizers, the most spectacular fights should be the fights according to the rules of B0 Fist Fight. Punches are allowed for three rounds of two minutes in 4-ounce gloves.
It is according to these rules that Liepaja resident Juris Zudvovskis and Riga fighter Francis Rozentals will meet in the cage. Zudvovskis finished his last fight with a confident victory against Kristaps Zutis and won the Latvian champion belt in the light heavyweight division. Francis Rozentals did not compete for a long time due to an injury and recently returned to the ring, winning the Latvian Boxing Championship up to 90 kilograms.
One of the main fights under these rules will be the confrontation between Jurmala fighter Daniil Vesnenko and Jelgava athlete Reberts Skujins. Vesnenko is returning to the cage after a three-year break. He had his last fight in 2022 under boxing rules against Deividas Dunauskas, and before that, the Jurmala resident showed himself confidently in the fighting organization “Top Dog”, where he had two bare-knuckle fights.
Representative of the fight club “Top Ring Latvia” Roberts Skujins actively performs at Latvian fight shows. In 2024, he won under MMA rules at “Milžu cīņas”, winning a confident victory against Ukrainian Maksym Soroka and started the new year with a defeat at the “King Of Kings” tournament against Edgars Skrivers.
In the main fight of the tournament, heavyweights Serge Michel from Germany and one of the leading Latvian boxers Richard Bolotnik will meet. This will be a rematch, since in 2020 Bolotnik won by knockout in the “Golden Contract” tournament series, where the Latvian boxer took the main championship belt.
Richard had his last high-profile boxing fights against Oleksandr Gvozdik and Imam Khatayev, where he suffered defeats. After a whole year’s break, on May 8 Bolotnik will perform at the “Bazara 0 Fight Club 2” show. The last time he performed in his homeland was in 2020. Serge, in turn, also has experience in boxing: in his last two victories, he knocked out Geriso Aduashvili and defeated Alessandro Jandeyeska by unanimous decision. The German has extensive experience in bare-knuckle fighting. At the end of March, Michel finished his last fight in the 7th second, sending his opponent into a deep knockout.
The cage will also feature such Latvian athletes as Raivo Aukštikalnis, Aleksandrs Cherkesovs, Arseny Nikolaevs, Vadim Skrebelis, Richards Hauberts and many other athletes.
- This time, a lot of emphasis has been placed on the construction of the site, the production of a special cage and special effects, which are being worked on by professionals from the international film industry, – said the tournament organizer Daniil Vesnenok.
The Led Unit film studio is the largest LED studio in the Baltics, where major companies from the world film industry regularly shoot. According to the event organizers, it is there that the famous 32×5 meter LED screen is located, which will enhance the effects of the fight show on May 8. The number of seats and tickets is limited.
