Endrick has admitted that he’d welcome the opportunity to play with Kylian Mbappe at Real Madrid in the future.
The prodigal Brazilian is set to join Madrid in July 2024, having struck a deal to join the club from Palmeiras back in December 2022 when he was just 16 years old.
Along with the addition of Endrick, Real Madrid have also been heavily linked with a move for Mbappe in the summer too in what we be a total revamp of the club’s current attacking set-up. The World Cup-winner is widely expected to leave Paris Saint-Germain following the conclusion of the 2023/24 season, with Mbappe previously informing his current club that he does not intend to take up an option to extend his contract until 2025.
Speaking to The Athletic, Endrick was asked about potentially playing with Mbappe, the youngster replied:
“Whatever is best for Real Madrid and the entire team, let it be done. I just want to be happy playing my football like I always wanted. Obviously, if I can play with Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo, or Mbappe, it will be something very good.
“But Florentino [Perez] and all the people around him know what to do which will be better for the club.”
The Brazilian youngster was in attendance for Madrid’s 4-1 win over Villarreal at the weekend, meeting his future teammates, manager Carlo Ancelotti and club president Florentino Perez on his trip.
“To experience Real Madrid vs Villarreal at the new Santiago Bernabéu and talk to Florentino was incredible,” Endrick said about the experience.
Endrick recently finished his final full season with Palmeiras, winning the Serie A, Supercopa do Brasil and Compeonato Paulista in what was a fantastic season for the club. The forward is due to leave the Sao Paulo side in July, mid-way though the 2024 campaign.
