There are only four months left until the guest performances of Cirque du Soleil’s show OVO in Arena Riga, and the audience is in a hurry to buy tickets. Ticket sales have been at record highs since December. Due to the considerable interest of the audience, the organizers of the show are announcing an extra performance of the day on Sunday, June 18, at 13:00 – a particularly good time for families with children! Tickets not only for this, but also for other shows are still available at Biļešu Serviss box offices and www.bilesuserviss.lv.
“We are very happy that the world-famous and beloved circus troupe agreed to additional performances in the Baltics. We don’t get such opportunities very often – to see this wonderful circus art with our own eyes!” says Tomas Inchikas, manager of the company “Seven Live”, who organizes Cirque du Soleil’s visit to the Baltic countries.
Cirque du Soleil has become a worldwide phenomenon. It is a circus that does not use animals – instead, the audience is thrilled with acrobatics, impressive sets and costumes, light shows, interactive videos, music and humor. The circus was founded in 1984 in Quebec, Canada, and since then has pleased approximately 220 million spectators around the world with its performances.
Cirque du Soleil’s only insect show at OVO is warmly anticipated and has generated a lot of interest. Judging by the statistics of sold tickets, it has already ranked at the top of the list of the most purchased events of Biļešu Servis in the first months. Spectators who want to enjoy a world-class circus performance right here in Arena Riga are given the opportunity to choose one of six performances over the course of four days.
