Ross County have appointed Don Cowie as their interim manager after Derek Adams’ resignation.
The 40-year-old served as an assistant to Adams and predecessor Malky Mackay and spent nine seasons as a player in Dingwall over two spells.
County sit second bottom of the Premiership after nine games without a win in all competitions.
Cowie’s first assignment is a league trip to Ibrox on 14 February, with a visit to Dundee to follow.
Adams’ third stint as County boss spanned just 12 matches and ended with a 5-0 mauling at Motherwell on Tuesday.
