As early as this Saturday, February 11, it will be known who will represent Latvia in the international song contest “Eurovision” in Liverpool this May. Bookmakers also express their predictions, naming the singer Patrīša and the group “Sudden Lights” as the main contenders.
On the evening of February 11, 10 members will take the stage – Alice Haijima, Louise, RAUM, Toms Kalderauskis, Artūrs Hatti, Patricia, Sudden Lights group, 24th Avenue group, AVÉI and Markus Riva.
The winner will be determined by the vote of the audience and the jury, with both sides having the same “weight”.
Even before the semi-finals, Betsafe experts considered musician Patricia as the favorite, and their opinion has not changed. According to bookmakers, Patriša, who performs the song “Hush”, has the highest odds, followed by the group “Sudden Lights” with the song “Aija”. As the third candidate is Louise with her main first original song “You to Hold Me.
The international “Eurovision” fan blog “Wiwibloggs” also made a prediction, naming the group “Sudden Lights” as one of the winners.
“Apollo.lv” already announced that “INSPO” with the song “Sway”, Katrine Millere with the song “Beaten Down”, Justs with the song “Strangers”, Adriana Miglāne with “Like I Wanna” were not promoted in the final.
