Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce will forever be known as one of the most iconic celebrity couples. After the two quietly started dating over the summer of 2023, they went public with their relationship that September. The sports and entertainment worlds collided, and the online trend of Swifties watching Kansas City Chiefs games went viral. One year later, though, a rumor surfaced online, claiming that the duo had a planned breakup. So, are Taylor and Travis still together?
Hollywood Life has all the latest updates on Taylor and Travis’ romance, below.
Did Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Break Up?
In early September 2024, photos of a document circulated online. The images featured a packet that had “Full Scope” as the header, and it outlined how someone should handle a breakup to the media. Bullet points in the alleged contract included, “Key Messages,” “Media Strategy” and “Social Media Management.” The packet also listed a date to announce a breakup: September 28, 2024.

In a statement obtained by Daily Mail, Travis’ PR firm, Full Scope Public Relations, called the rumor “entirely false and fabricated and were not created, issued or authorized by this agency.”
“We have engaged our legal team to initiate proceedings against the individuals or entities responsible for the unlawful and injurious forgery of documents,” the firm added in its statement.
Neither Taylor nor Travis has publicly reacted to the viral document.
Are Taylor and Travis Still Together?
Despite the rumors, Taylor and Travis are still together. The day when the false PR document made the rounds on social media, the Chiefs tight end appeared on the Rich Eisen Show to discuss his iconic Eras Tour cameo.
“Taylor knew when the lights are on, I’m gonna have some fun,” Travis said. “She put me in a position where I didn’t have to do much for it to be a success. She put me in a really comfortable part of the show, and I was just there not to screw anything up.”
During the fun on-stage appearance, Travis’ job was to carry Taylor to a couch. During his interview, the athlete noted that he focused on not dropping his girlfriend, which “would have been the most embarrassing thing [he] could have ever done,” adding, “Just getting her to the couch was the hardest part.”
Travis even revealed the nickname he apparently calls Taylor — “Tay” — and he recalled the idea he proposed about his brief on-stage performance.
“I initially mentioned to Tay, I was like, ‘How funny would it be if I just rolled out on one of the bikes during the 1989 [segment]?’” the NFL player said. “She started laughing. She was like, ‘Would you seriously be up for doing something like that?’ I was like, ‘What? I would love to do that, are you kidding me?’”
