Croatian band “Baby Lasagna” will perform in Riga

On March 1, the popular Croatian band “Baby Lasagna” will perform at the “Palladium” concert hall, informs the portal balticevents.info. The collective stood out at the Eurovision Song Contest with their song “Rim Tim Tagi Dim” and was welcomed by thousands of people upon returning to their homeland, Croatia.

“Baby Lasagna” is a musical project by Marko Purišić, which arose from the songwriter’s need for artistic expression that would allow him to write and perform music without strict genre restrictions. With “Baby Lasagna”, Marko has finally found a niche in which he can combine incompatible genres and create new audio sounds that are both fresh and exciting.

The music was first publicly released in late 2023 with the singles “IG BOY” and “Don’t hate yourself, but don’t love yourself too much”, and then exploded globally with the song “Rim Tim Tagi Dim” in the first half of 2024. The song won the Croatian ESC contest Dora in February and came second in the Eurovision Song Contest in Sweden in May, receiving the most phone votes from fans around the world. The song has surpassed 35 million streams on Spotify and has been in the Top 40 official charts in the United Kingdom, Germany, and Austria.

After a phenomenal ESC run, Baby Lasagna’s story is rapidly gaining momentum, signing a global record deal with Polydor/Universal Germany, selling out 3 stadium shows in Zagreb, Croatia in one day, and selling out countless shows across Croatia, the Balkans and Europe. After a very successful first shows this spring and with over 60 shows booked until the end of April 2025, the future of Baby Lasagna is currently looking very bright.

New music coming soon, next singles and videos will be available in late June and late summer, debut album planned for next winter. Tickets for the Riga concert are available at all “Biļešu Serviss”
