WWE Raw, with fallout from WWE Clash at the Castle, advertised the long-awaited debut of what many believe to be a Bray Wyatt-inspired stable led by Wyatt’s brother Bo Dallas (Uncle Howdy). In 2022 he late Wyatt returned to WWE through a series of innovative QR Code teases that hinted toward a White Rabbit. The teases led to a gigantic bump in viewership when they suggested he could return on the September 23, 2022 broadcast of SmackDown. Though the return did not happen on this night, the interest in Wyatt’s return was undeniable, and it ultimately paid off with a memorable appearance at Extreme Rules 2022.
Sadly, Wyatt wrestled his final match against LA Knight at WWE Royal Rumble before passing away due to health issues. WWE restarted the QR code teases in 2024, and reportedly signed former Wyatt Family member Erick Rowan, which led to natural speculation that a Bray Wyatt Tribute Band was nigh.
WWE Raw also advertised Money in the Bank qualifying action, including a Triple Threat pitting Jey Uso against Rey Mysterio and Finn Balor.
Last week’s broadcast of WWE Raw garnered 1.609 million viewers.

Seth Rollins Returns, Challenges Damian Priest
Seth Rollins made his surprise return to WWE Raw dressed for a yacht party on Season 2 of White Lotus.
Rollins said he returned to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, which brought out Damian Priest. Thankfully, Priest was not injured from last night’s scary spot where he got his foot tangled against Drew McIntyre.
Seth Rollins compared himself to Priest as they both won Money in the Bank briefcases, held them for a long time and cashed them in at WrestleMania.
Surprisingly, Priest challenged Rollins to a match at Money in the Bank for Priest’s World Heavyweight Title.
Seth Rollins vs. Damian Priest Segment Grade: B
Braun Strowman Def. Chad Gable
Fans are now chanting “One big S.O.B.!” at Braun Strowman. Long live “Get these hands!”
Braun Strowman beat Chad Gable clean after repeatedly screaming how much he hated bullies.
After Gable’s loss, he once again started bullying Akira Tozawa. Maxxine Dupri stood up for Tozawa, but Gable tossed her crutch aside as well. This prompted Otis to stand up to Gable, and finally shove him on his butt. Fans chanted for Otis, and though Cole demanded Otis “beat Gable’s ass,” Otis simply sulked off with the Alpha Academy. This felt like a little bit of closure, but not all the closure Otis could have had.
Braun Strowman vs. Chad Gable Grade: B
Iyo Sky Def. Kiana James And Zelina Vega
Iyo Sky walked into this match as the favorite to qualify, but not necessarily the favorite to win the Women’s Money in the Bank Briefcase after already doing so last year.
Liv Morgan interfered, distracting Zelina Vega. Of note, Morgan was wearing Dominik Mysterio’s cowhide vest.
Iyo Sky vs. Kiana James and Zelina Vega Grade: B
Bron Breakker Challenges Sami Zayn For IC Title
Fans booed Bron Breakker when he interrupted Sami Zayn’s monologue encouraging Otis to leave Alpha Academy.
Bron Breakker said Zayn knows what he’s capable of doing, he’s left a long list of bodies in the ring and Zayn is next.
Fans barked when Breakker vowed to take the Intercontinental Championship, but then chanted for Sami.
The confrontation was then interrupted by Sheamus. As Sheamus discussed never winning the Intercontinental Championship, Breakker once again interrupted him. Sheamus essentially called Breakker a flash in the pan, and Sami Zayn suggested the two fight it out for a chance to compete for the Intercontinental Title.
During a backstage segment, Shayna Baszler noted she made Jade Cargill tap out but the referee did not see it.
Sami Zayn and Bron Breakker Grade: B+
Carlito Def. Dragon Lee
Carlito was accompanied by JD McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio, who was not wearing his vest.
Carlito is still not officially a member of The Judgment day despite the distorted font on his t-shirt and wearing black jeans as a ring gear.
Liv Morgan came to the ring with Dominik vests, and Dominik angrily asked for it back. This brought out Zelina Vega, who attacked Vega, leading to a brawl on the outside. McDonagh crotched Lee, leading to a Backstabber from Carlito and the win.
Carlito vs. Dragon Lee Grade: B-
Drew McIntyre Quits WWE
Backstage, Otis told Chad Gable he was “done.” Alpha Academy followed.
Drew McIntyre quit WWE, paying homage to Bret Hart in 1997 when he quit WWE after being screwed time and again. This entire feud between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre is a shot-for-shot remake of Bret vs. Shawn in 1997. There are far too many Easter Eggs to count.
After Drew McIntyre quit, he was confronted by Triple H, but McIntyre wasn’t hearing any of it. I fully expect McIntyre to return Friday on SmackDown to destroy CM Punk in his home city.
Drew McIntyre Segment Grade: B+
Kayden Carter And Katana Chance Def. Damage CTRL
There was not a lot of heat for his match, but after Damage CTRL lost, there was a backstage segment where Iyo Sky once again said Damage CTRL has to change. If not, Iyo said she would do something about it.
Kayden Carter and Katana Chance vs. Damage CTRL Grade: C
Bron Breakker Vs. Sheamus Ends In A No Contest
This was the hard-hitting matchup you’d expect, but just as Sheamus was going for the finish, Ludwig Kaiser hit the ring and forced the DQ on Sheamus. It either looks like Sheamus will spinoff with Kaiser, or there will be a Triple Threat Match for the Intercontinental Championship.
Bron Breakker laid Sheamus out with a Spear shortly after Sheamus’ brawl with Kaiser. Ludwig vultured the pieces by attacking Sheamus, zeroing in on his bad leg.
Kaiser ran around the ring to crush Sheamus’ leg, but Breakker simultaneously ran around the ring and met Kaiser with one of the greatest spears ever.
Bron Breakker vs. Sheamus Grade: B
Jey Uso Def. Rey Mysterio And Finn Balor
Jey Uso once again cut a promo from the crowd before making his entrance through the fans. I feel like the 2024 Money in the Bank briefcase is Chad Gable’s or Jey Uso’s to lose.
The main event went to its first commercial break at 7:40, which leaves plenty of time for the match and the reveal of a new Bray Wyatt-inspired stable.
Rey Mysterio hit four 619’s within the last minute of the match, including one double-619.
Dominik Mysterio interrupted while Mysterio was set to finish off his opponents, which brought out Braun Strowman, who chased The Judgment Day out of the arena.
Back in the ring, Jey Uso hit an Uso Splash on Finn Balor as Balor was pinning Mysterio. Uso won and is the first of six men to qualify for the men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
Jey Uso vs. Rey Mysterio and Finn Balor Grade: B
Bray Wyatt-Inspired Stable Debuts
Following Usos victory, the lights turned out and a Sister Abigail-like figure crawled out of a door at the top of the stage (was it Nikki Cross?) She crawled next to a lantern.
The camera then panned backstage to a rabbet with a mallet with the word “help” on it. There were several lifeless bodies, bloodied, including Chad Gable and Braun Strowman. Finally, Uncle Howdy pulled up to “holy s—t” chants. Uncle Howdy joined an individual in a gas mask and another individual in a plague doctor’s mask. It looks like the new Wyatt Stable has five members.
