Police are investigating the death of a woman in an incident involving farm machinery at a rural property south of Brisbane.
Emergency services were called to a property on Undullah Road in Woodhill at Logan about 9:30am after reports of a fatality.
When crews arrived they found a 41-year-old woman had died from her injuries.
The ABC understands police are treating the death as a possible domestic violence incident.
A Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) spokesperson said the woman had been found with “significant injuries” after a “farm machinery incident”.
A crime scene was established at the property and forensic police were continuing to investigate the woman’s death late on Thursday afternoon.
The Queensland Police Service said a 44-year-old man is assisting with their inquiries.
Paramedics assessed a man at the property who was found in a stable condition and did not need to be taken to hospital, a QAS spokesperson said.
The Logan police criminal investigation branch is investigating.
