Wolverhampton Wanderers’ out-of-favour full-back Jonny is in talks with Greek side PAOK Salonika.
The 29-year-old, who has been capped three times by Spain, has been training alone after a training ground incident with a younger player last month.
On Friday, Wolves boss Gary O’Neil said he would look at the situation again if Jonny was unable to find a new club.
Razvan Lucescu’s PAOK are top of the Greek Superleague on goal difference from Panathinaikos.
They are aiming to win just the fourth title in their history and only their second since 1985 – and have also qualified for the last 16 of the Europa Conference League.
The defender has made just one Premier League appearance for Wolves this term, as a late substitute against Manchester City in September.
Jonny is one of Wolves’ highest earners after signing a four-year contract extension in 2021.
