The Best FIFA Football Awards 2023 saw prizes handed out to stars of the men’s and women’s game.
It was Lionel Messi who came out on top in the men’s voting, beating fellow nominees Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe to claim the gong for the third time in his career. Barcelona and Spain midfielder Aitana Bonmati added another individual trophy to her collection in the women’s category, while there were also accolades handed out to the world’s best coaches and goalkeepers.
