Enrique Iglesias has sold the rights to his catalog to Influence Media Partners as part of a larger deal with the music rights firm.

While full terms of the deal were not disclosed, it is rumored to be worth nine-figures and includes his name, image, and likeness rights. It also includes an investment in both his independent master recordings and recorded music royalty streams.

His catalog includes 11 studio albums, five compilation albums, and 62 singles including hits like “Hero,” “Bailando,” and “I Like It.” Influence Media Partners was founded in 2018 by Lylette Pizzaro. In 2022, BlackRock and Warner Music Group invested $750 million in Influence Media to acquire catalogs from female and diverse artists. The fund has since invested in 26 catalogs of artists including Julia Michaels, Future, Blake Shelton, The Sterotypes, Ali Tamposi, and more.

“My songs hold immense significance for both my fans and me,” Iglesias said in a statement about the deal. “I’m excited to be working with the Influence Media team. I feel confident we will build an enduring partnership for my music and future projects.”

“Enrique is a global icon and having him as a part of our Influence media family is a game-changing moment for us,” adds Lylette Pizzaro, Influence Media Co-Managing Partner. “For a quarter of a century, he has captivated fans globally with chart-topping and record-breaking hits. He has played a pivotal role in introducing bilingual music to the masses. We couldn’t be more excited to partner with one of the most recognizable figures in modern music.”

Other recent back catalog acquisitions include HarborView’s acquisition of Christine McVie’s share of Fleetwood Mac record royalties and Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo’s portion of their publishing catalog and recorded music assets. Iconic Artists Group snapped up Graham Nash’s publishing catalog, while Reservoir Media grabbed Joe Walsh’s portion of his publishing catalog.
