The Songwriters Hall of Fame announces the nominees up for consideration to be inducted at its 2024 gala in New York City.
The Songwriters Hall of Fame (SHOF) has announced the list of nominees to be voted on for induction at its 2024 awards gala in New York City. Eligible voting members will have until midnight EST on December 27, 2023 to turn in ballots with their choices of three nominees of songwriters and three from performing songwriter categories.
Dedicated to recognizing the work and lives of songwriters around the world, SHOF qualifies a composer or lyricist with a notable catalog of songs 20 years after the first significant commercial release of a song. The complete list of SHOF’s 2024 nominees is below, with a selection of five songs from their extensive catalogs.
