Blackx
Equipped with $100 million, Asia-focused music investment company Blackx has officially opened an office in Japan and tapped Giant Artist Management co-founder Hiroki Shirasuka to lead the division.
Additionally, the Singapore-based business has added longtime Twentieth Century Fox exec Catherine Chow (CFO) and ADA vet Chiou Chiou (GM for acquisition and commercial) to its Greater China operation. Meanwhile, financial professional Hudson Wong has come aboard as head of business operations in Singapore.
Too Lost
Too Lost has hired seven employees, including enlisting former BeatStars COO Damien Ritter to serve as director of communications, naming former Spotify sales team member Meghan Lyttle product operations coordinator, and bringing on Jennifer Ferrer (previously with ADA) as senior product manager.
Next, Ariana Slater (formerly Get Engaged Media’s music team lead) and Carly Golisch (formerly an Oracle NetSuite account executive) are now product and operations coordinators. Rounding out the hires, former 300 Entertainment A&R consultant Jake Selvey has signed on as A&R Manager, with former Maverick Management manager Jheanelle Henry stepping up as Too Lost’s product manager for label services.
Finally, Too Lost has elevated Aldo Davalos from head of business development to GM/head of business development and upped Buster Ross from A&R manager to associate director of A&R.
Sony Music Publishing Nashville
SMP Nashville has promoted Kenley Flynn, who joined the company in 2020, to VP of creative A&R.
Katz Media Group
Katz Digital Audio has named former Triton Digital EVP Dominick Milano SVP of programmatic audio.
Artlist
Former 888 Holdings higher-ups Gili Brandshtein and Roee Peled have become Artlist’s CTO and chief product officer, respectively.
Kobalt
Kobalt has boosted over five-year employee Alaine Fulton to VP, creative and clearance sync, where she’ll oversee the entity’s London-based sync team.

Former Appalachian Wireless Arena GM Paul Bowles is now GM of Huntington, West Virginia’s Mountain Health Arena and Convention Center.

Jacob Fain, who joined Elektra Entertainment in November of 2020, has been promoted to EVP and head of A&R.

Longtime NPR programming higher-up Anya Grundmann has announced plans to step down at 2023’s end.
