In Latvia, expanding the availability of services for adults and children, VCA opens a new polyclinic “Dole”

“Veselības centru apivīna” (VCA), expanding the availability of outpatient services, has opened a new polyclinic in Riga, Ķengaraga – “Dole”. The consultation and diagnostic options of family doctors, various specialists are in demand among the local neighborhood and other residents of Riga, at the same time, the convenient location in the premises of t/c “Dole” is also on the way for customers from nearby municipalities, for example Salaspils region, according to the Association of Health Centers. “VCA continues to invest funds in the improvement of health care services – by expanding the range of existing services, purchasing the equipment necessary for them, investing in infrastructure, thus also the clients and specialists of the VCA polyclinic “Dole” can appreciate the modern technological range of a high-level medical institution – it is precisely in the purchase of medical equipment that approx. 600,000 euros. Currently, diagnostic examinations are very important in medicine, therefore, various equipment of the latest generation is also available in the VCA polyclinic “Dole”. Also, the first customers appreciate the fact that family doctors also register new patients in their practices. State-paid services are available at VCA’s new medical facility, and we also cooperate with all health insurance providers. Family doctors and specialist doctors work with us – neurologist, ophthalmologist, surgeon, otolaryngologist, who accept not only adults, but also children,” says Stella Lapiņa, chairman of the board of the Association of Health Centers.

In the newly opened VCA “Dole” polyclinic, seven family doctor’s practices are available to clients and specialists such as an otolaryngologist, ophthalmologist, dermatologist, gynecologist, surgeon, traumatologist, cardiologist, neurologist are available, there is a procedure and vaccination room, physical therapy, and it is also possible to perform X-rays. ultrasonography, electrocardiogram, echocardiography and holter monitoring.
VCA polyclinic “Dole” is located on the 2nd floor of the shopping center “Dole” (Maskavas street 357, Riga), with an elevator it is easily accessible to customers with mobility impairments, mothers with prams. For the needs of the new “Dole” polyclinic, VCA has carried out reconstruction and furnishing of offices on the second floor of the building within half a year, investing a total of approximately 700,000 euros in the infrastructure.

“Central Laboratory” and “Mēnes Aptieka” also work in the shopping center “Dole”.

The company’s performance in 2021 has been evaluated, with Stella Lapiņa, the chairman of the board, being awarded the prize of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Lithuania for her contribution to the development of the healthcare sector.
