SIA “Kurzemes filharmonija” informs that the open competition for the position of Artistic Director of SIA “Kurzemes filharmonija” of the municipality of Ventspils, announced on December 19, 2022, has ended without results, therefore a new open competition has been announced on 7 February this year.
The main responsibilities of the artistic director cover several areas: creating the event plan of the limited liability company “Kurzemes Philharmonija”, organizing, planning and coordinating the work of the artistic department of SIA “Kurzemes Philharmonija”, ensuring the artistic activity of the concert hall “Latvija” and the theater house “Jūras vārti”, high level management and realization of creative ideas, including:
participation in the development of the operation and development strategy of SIA “Kurzemes Philharmonija”;
generating ideas, developing and implementing artistic programs;
budget planning and control of artistic programs;
cooperation with foreign and local concert organizations;
promotion of image recognition of concert hall “Latvija” and theater house “Jūras vārti”;
SIA “Kurzemes filharmonija” integrating the activities of amateur art collectives into the artistic program.
to participate in meetings, meetings and seminars within the scope of their duties as directed by management.
