INFINITE members Kim Myung Soo (L) and Sungyeol will be starring in a new drama together!
On February 6, SPOTV News reported that Kim Myung Soo and Sungyeol will be reuniting through MBC’s new drama “Accounting Firm” (literal title).
In response to the reports, Kim Myung Soo and Sungyeol’s agency Management 2sang shared, “Kim Myung Soo and Lee Sung Yeol will be starring in ‘Accounting Firm’ together.”
As the title suggests, “Accounting Firm” tells the various stories that unfold within an accounting firm. Kim Myung Soo will be playing the role of Jang Ho Woo, the first and only high school graduate accountant to join Taeil Accounting Firm, with the drama highlighting Jang Ho Woo’s story of fulfilling the justice he dreams of. Sungyeol will be playing the role of Shim Hyung Woo, who becomes the accounting firm’s Deals Director after overcoming his difficult family environment.
Previously, Choi Jin Hyuk was reported to be in talks for the role of a senior manager at the firm who has been working as an accountant for 12 years. Yeonwoo and Choi Min Soo have also reportedly been offered roles in the drama.
After debuting together as members of INFINITE in 2010, Kim Myung Soo and Sungyeol both eventually signed with Management 2sang after parting ways with Woollim Entertainment.
“Accounting Firm” is slated to air in the first half of next year. Stay tuned for more updates on the drama!
