The Department of Education, Culture and Sports of the Riga City Council has announced a funding tender for the support of the capital’s creative quarters and territories in order to allocate funds for cultural projects to be implemented this year.
The purpose of the competition is to promote the development of creative quarters and territories in Riga, ensuring the provision of diverse cultural services, cultural creativity and public education. It is held in order to create a publicly accessible, creative and open interaction space, promoting the development of new and creative forms of cooperation, as well as promoting the development of a modern, intellectual cultural environment and cultural infrastructure in the city.
Legal entities operating in Riga are invited to participate in the competition, ensuring the development of creative quarters and territories important to the city in accordance with the strategy of sustainable development of Riga until 2030.
Project applications must be submitted in electronic format until February 24 at 12.00, by sending to the e-mail address [email protected] or the official electronic address.
