Fidelity, Blackrock Lead $176M Bitcoin ETF Rebound

U.S. crypto ETF flows improved sharply on Tuesday as bitcoin funds attracted $175.62 million and ether snapped a 10-session losing streak with $24.84 million in inflows.

Key Takeaways

  • Bitcoin ETFs drew $175.62M on Tuesday, led by Fidelity and Blackrock.
  • Ether snapped a 10-session losing streak, while solana and zcash remained under pressure.
  • A broader recovery now depends on bitcoin and ether sustaining inflows beyond a single session.

Fidelity Pulls in $103M as Bitcoin ETFs Flip Back to Inflows

Institutional buyers returned with more conviction on Tuesday, but they were selective about where they put money.

Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) drew $175.62 million, reversing Monday’s $65.40 million outflow. Fidelity’s FBTC led with $103.06 million, while Blackrock’s IBIT attracted $65.89 million. Morgan Stanley’s MSBT added another $6.67 million.

Trading volume reached $1.65 billion, while net assets climbed to $106.98 billion.

The clean inflow day carries more weight after last week’s heavy redemptions. Bitcoin funds lost roughly $681 million during the previous five sessions, so Tuesday’s buying suggests institutional investors are beginning to rebuild exposure rather than simply reacting to short-term movements in bitcoin’s price.

Ether Finally Breaks Its Losing Streak

Ether ETFs delivered their first positive session after 10 consecutive days of redemptions.

The category attracted $24.84 million, split between Grayscale’s Ether Mini Trust at $16.73 million and Fidelity’s FETH at $8.11 million. Trading activity totaled $521.08 million, while net assets finished at $15.83 billion.

The change in direction is significant because ether has been the largest source of sustained institutional selling in recent weeks.

Still, Tuesday’s inflow was modest compared with the hundreds of millions that left ether products during the preceding streak. A few more positive sessions would provide stronger evidence that the de-risking cycle has run its course.

Solana and Zcash Remain Under Pressure

The recovery did not extend across the full crypto ETF market.

Solana ETFs lost another $1.04 million through Bitwise’s BSOL, extending their outflow streak to seven sessions. Net assets fell to $1.71 billion.

The continued selling is notable after solana’s 14-week run of positive weekly flows ended last week. What had been one of the strongest high-beta institutional trades is still struggling to regain momentum.

Zcash ETFs also remained weak. Grayscale’s ZCSH lost $5.19 million, pushing net assets down to $677.30 million. HYPE and XRP ETFs recorded no net flows.

NEAR Keeps Building Through the Volatility

NEAR remains the exception among smaller ETF categories.

Bitwise’s NRR attracted another $3.93 million, lifting the fund’s net assets to $79.17 million. The product has continued drawing capital while several more established altcoin ETFs have seen repeated withdrawals.

Tuesday’s flow pattern suggests risk appetite is returning in layers.

Bitcoin received the strongest allocation while ether finally found buyers, and NEAR continued its steady accumulation. Solana and zcash remained under pressure.

That hierarchy will matter for the rest of the week. If bitcoin and ether can string together additional inflow sessions, Tuesday may prove to be the first sign of broader institutional stabilization after an extended period of defensive positioning.
