The 99th chapter of Yasuki Tanaka‘s Ghost Fixers manga on the Shonen Jump+ platform revealed on Friday the manga is ending in its next chapter. While the final page of the 99th chapter incorrectly states the next and final chapter will launch on October 9, it will instead launch on October 16 according to MANGA Plus.

Tanaka launched the manga on Shonen Jump+ in March 2024. Shueisha published the manga’s seventh compiled volume on March 4.

MANGA Plus is publishing the manga in English, and it describes the story:

Following a certain event, Mikurigaoka New Town transformed into a crucible of supernatural phenomena known as GHOSTS! In said town lives Hifumi, a middle school boy, who one day encounters a girl who just moved in… Help “correct” the supernatural in this action-packed tale from Yasuki Tanaka, creator of “Summer Time Rendering“!

Tanaka’s Summer Time Rendering manga inspired an anime in 2022. Disney+ streamed the anime worldwide and exclusively in Japan. Ayumu Watanabe (Space Brothers, Children of the Sea) directed the anime.

A live-action project was announced in 2021, and the project will be a film that will open in Japan in 2027.

The manga also inspired a game that launched on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in January 2023.

Tanaka launched the manga on Shonen Jump+ in October 2017, and the manga’s 13th and final volume shipped in Japan in April 2021. Shueisha launched its MANGA Plus online service with the English version of the manga in January 2019. Udon Entertainment licensed the series for print in 2021.
