The editorial department of Shueisha‘s Shonen Jump+ website announced on Wednesday that it is terminating its outsourcing of services to former Chainsaw Man and Shueisha editor Shihei Lin‘s Mix Green company. The staff added that any titles that Lin had been working on for Jump+ will continue serialization under a new structure.

Lin then stated on X/Twitter on the same day that Mix Green had entered into direct contracts for the following four manga and so will continue to handle editorial duties for them: Tatsuya Endō‘s SPY×FAMILY, Yukinobu Tatsu‘s Dandadan, Tohru Kuramori‘s Centuria, and Hakuri‘s WITCHRIV.

Lin launched his company Mix Green’s new manga platform on April 17. His platform began accepting manga submissions from artists at that time.

Lin joined Shueisha as an editor in 2006 and worked there until his departure in August 2022. He continued working with the artists he edited for as a freelance editor.

During his time with the company he worked on titles such as Chainsaw Man, SPY×FAMILY, Dandadan, and many others. He spoke with ANN about his work on these series.
