Ize Press announced four new titles at Yen Press‘ industry panel at Anime NYC, including the acclaimed webtoon Whale Star: The Gyeongseong Mermaid and several new releases expanding its Solo Leveling lineup.
Written by Yoonhee Na, Whale Star: The Gyeongseong Mermaid is a historical romance set in Korea under Japanese colonial rule in 1926. The story follows Sooah, a young maid who becomes involved with Uihyeon, a wounded independence fighter she discovers while he is fleeing from Japanese authorities. The six-volume series was originally serialized on WEBTOON and has surpassed 13 million readers. It won the 2021 Korea Content Grand Prize Presidential Award and is also receiving a live-action adaptation.

Ize Press will also release a Spanish-language edition of Solo Leveling in comic, novel, and audiobook formats. The comic and novel editions will be available in the United States and Canada, while the audiobook have a worldwide release.
The publisher is also adding the Solo Leveling: Ragnarok sequel novel series by Daul. The sequel follows Sooho Sung, the son of original protagonist Jinwoo Sung, as he becomes involved with the world of hunters and monsters. Ize Press started releasing the comic version of Solo Leveling: Ragnarok in print in July.

Finally, Ize Press announced Solo Leveling: The Board Game, a cooperative tactical tabletop game for one to four players featuring characters, monsters, and bosses from the series. The company will release both Standard and Ultimate editions, with the latter featuring additional collectibles including a Beru plushie.
Ize Press will reveal release dates, pricing, and additional details for the new titles at a later date.
