Surprise! Blasphemous 2: The Third Sin is a new – and free – expansion, and it’s out now.
Revealed earlier today, the new expansion “challenges players to explore and overcome a part of Cvstodia that once served as a refuge for the nobles, until The Miracle wrought devastation within the castle walls. The huge, foreboding castle is a quarter of the size of the entire Blasphemous II and Mea Culpa world maps combined”.
The new chapter includes:
- New map/area to explore (quarter of the size of the entire Blasphemous II map, including Mea Culpa)
- One new Boss
- New enemies
- New weapon – Blade Tipped Whip
- New prayers
- Unlockable outfits
- Boss Gallery
- New gameplay experience – three Familars
- Six additional music tracks
- Five new achievements/trophies
Blasphemous 2: The Third Sin is available to download now on Nintendo Switch, PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store), PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One. The PS4, however, will get it at a “later” and unspecified date.
