Imagine spending your vacation at a resort where the fun never stops, and a waterpark is outside your door. It’s a no-brainer for families — the kids get to enjoy splash pads, lazy rivers and thrilling slides without ever leaving the property. But let’s be honest, adults like to have fun in their swimsuits, too. These resorts with luxury water parks prove that the excitement isn’t just for the little ones.
Whether you’re in the area and want to pop in on a day pass or if you’re searching for a hotel so loaded with perks that you don’t have to think about an off-site itinerary, these properties with incredible water features provide an unforgettable getaway.
Rosewood Baha Mar, Nassau, Bahamas
Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star Baha Mar’s oceanfront water park, Baha Bay, debuted in July 2024. The 15-acre playground features 24 water slides, a dueling water coaster, a 500,000-gallon wave pool and a winding river. You’ll also find splash zones, mini water slides for kids and a beachfront infinity pool.
Ready to roll the dice and try your luck? Visit the outdoor casino with stunning ocean views. Grand Hyatt and SLS Baha Mar hotel guests can also enjoy access to Baha Mar waterpark. Limited day passes for the public are available as well.
Conrad Orlando and Evermore Resort
Opened in January 2024, this unicorn dual resort offers endless accommodation options. At Conrad Orlando, you can choose a full-service upscale hotel room or suite and, at Evermore Resort, you can book a modern apartment or individual home (up to 11 bedrooms) with a full kitchen and laundry — convenient for a wedding party or multi-generational family vacation.
Guests have access to the heart of both resorts: the eight-acre Evermore Bay, a crystalline lagoon surrounded by white silky sand. Paddleboards and kayaks are complimentary. There’s also a cool group slide and old-fashioned rope swing. Within a 12-minute drive to Walt Disney World, these two properties are great options if you want beach-like amenities, a host of dining options, a spa and more.
JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa
This Forbes Travel Guide Recommended hotel has outdone itself with an $80 million makeover that includes the new Aquaridge Waterpark, which debuted in late 2023. The attraction features a revamped lazy river and Wildfire Grove, an area with two pools and a gorgeous waterfall.
But the real highlight for little kids (and big ones, too) is the Havasu Playground. Here, you’ll find three new water slides, including Gullywasher — the only dual-person tube slide at a resort west of the Mississippi. It goes up a tall, vertical wall, guaranteed to deliver thrills for anyone taller than 46 inches. There are also two enclosed tubular slides, The Drop and Little Eddy. And when you need a break from the screams, head to the luxurious Sedona Springs hot tub area or the Sky Island adults-only experience. Day passes for non-guests can also be purchased.
Aurora Anguilla Resort & Golf Club
Four-Star Aurora Anguilla Resort & Golf Club’s new Entertainment Park opened in January 2024 and is a 600,000-gallon splash of paradise. The luxury waterpark’s centerpiece is a shimmering zero-entry, lagoon-style pool that’s perfect for a leisurely dip in the beach-like oasis.
For daredevils, two spiraling slides and a flying saucer slide deliver thrills. If relaxing with a piña colada is more your speed, hop on a tube and drift along the 1,400-foot lazy river. For little ones, the splash pad has pint-sized slides, splash blasters, fountains and even a water cannon.
The Five-Star Boca Raton Beach Club, one of five hotels in the Boca Raton Resort complex, unveiled a renovation in December 2024. As part of this reimagination, the resort’s Harborside Pool Club was transformed into a lavish lakefront oasis where you can ride two five-story waterslides, float along the 450-foot lazy river or catch a wave on the FlowRider.
An adults-only pool offers ultimate relaxation with luxury cabanas (including a Ferrari-inspired one) while the family pool promises endless fun for the group. Younger kids can explore a pirate ship splash zone while teens hang out and play virtual reality games at The Break.
Atlantis, The Palm and Atlantis The Royal, Dubai
Tucked between these sister properties, you’ll find the world’s largest waterpark. Aquaventure Waterpark will keep the family busy with more than 105 slides and attractions. Thrill seekers will line up for the Leap of Faith, where you drop down a near-vertical 98-foot slide that shoots you through a clear tube surrounded by cownose rays and sharks, and Poseidon’s Revenge, an adrenaline-pumping slide whose entrance is a trap door that plummets you 380 feet.
Or opt for the family-friendly Shark Attack, where you’ll float through a fiberglass tunnel amid sharks; the River Rapids, the longest river in the region; or the world’s largest kids zone.
