Coachella 2026 means “unhinged” food prices in 2026, with $30 chicken sandwiches, $28 fries, $17 lattes, and $41 for two slices of pizza and a Coke.
It’s Coachella’s 25th anniversary, and Weekend One just wrapped up. While this year’s performances include heavy hitters like Sabrina Carpenter and Justin Bieber, as well as a history-making set from Karol G, fans are less than enthusiastic about the prices they’re being charged for food and drink.
One festivalgoer on TikTok, @girlbosstown, said she paid $23 for noodles and $28 for carne asada fries. She admitted that the food was “really good” and that the portion sizes were “reasonable,” but people in the comments are certainly not experiencing FOMO.
“I am so glad I have no desire to go to anything like this,” wrote one commenter on Instagram. “More and more I’m convinced I wouldn’t enjoy this even if it was free,” wrote another.
Another influencer, Jacks Dining Room, shared his favorite food from the festival, including three tacos for $20, and a burger and fries covered in caviar, which went for a (admittedly more understandable, given the caviar) whopping $150.
Other attendees discussed $30 chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders and fries for $26, and $41 for two slices of pizza and a can of Coke. One woman said she brought her own food, but she and her friends still shelled out $50 for three coffees.
“This is pretty standard festival prices,” a commenter wrote on Reddit. “Coachella has never been claimed to be a great bargain.”
“I’d say it’s slightly high for most festivals, but I would expect Coachella food/drink to be more expensive,” wrote another Redditor.
“Festival prices are crazy in general, but Coachella is also higher than most festivals,” someone else chimed in. “For example, Island Noodles (which Justin Trudeau was pictured eating a few days ago lol) is $23 at Coachella; exact same vendor sells the exact same product for $16 at Electric Forest.”
“Just don’t go unless you are being paid,” another commenter concluded. “Watching in my living room was awesome!”
